Interior Plant Technician

The Interior Plant Technician’s primary responsibility is to perform interior and some exterior horticultural maintenance for our residential and commercial clients. This includes, but is not limited to; watering, grooming, pruning, plant cleaning and identifying pests and/or disease.

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 4x10 work week

Exterior Plant Technician

This position includes exterior plantings, watering and maintaining of plants and some heavy lifting. The ideal candidate will have proven success of maximum productivity while delivering quality products and outstanding customer service that we are known for in the industry. 

Type: Full-Time/Part-time

Schedule: 4x10 work week

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Visit all scheduled accounts regularly for plant and container maintenance

  • Plant and Container maintenance includes, (but is not limited to) watering, grooming, trimming, cleaning, pest control

  • Responsible for keeping an accurate log of account maintenance for each and every account

  • Notify supervisor of any damaged or vandalized plants and/or containers

  • Actively attend regular Exterior Team meetings

  • Remove all trash and debris from planters, beds and containers

  • Seek and make suggestions for improvements where needed including plant changes, fertilization, etc.

  • Any additional special projects as needed

  • Assist with exterior container plant installations throughout the Spring (April - June) and Fall (Late September - October) seasons. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Removing and composting (or keeping and potting up) seasonal annual plants from exterior containers 

    • Adding fresh soil to containers for new plants to grow and flourish

    • Planting annual and perennial plants in containers per the provided design instruction plan

    • Groom and prune new plants as needed once installed. 

    • Clean container and surrounding area - includes wiping off containers, sweeping up dirt, cleaning up and recycling grow pot containers in appropriate places. 


  • Good attitude

  • Exterior plant container maintenance or landscaping experience highly preferred

  • Problem solver that handles stressful situations well

  • Excellent communication, virtually, and in person, with clients, superiors and employees you are directly working with

  • Capable of working alone, as well as on a team

  • Organizational skills and an ability to assess what is required for the task at hand.

  • Reliable transportation and comfortable navigating areas including downtown Seattle and the Eastside

  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills
